Toeva, het Centrum van Azië (Tuva, the Center of Asia).  Journalist Ben Lange traveled through Tuva for several months in 1993 and 1995, together with photographer Jean-Pierre Jans. He made two videos for exhibitions in the Etnografisch Museum and the Hessenhuis, in Antwerp, Belgium. Both short videos are on this cassette. The first video (7 min, 15 sec), Tuva, Center of Asia shows winter scenes of Tuva, throatsinging, yurts, and the ritual slaughter of a sheep. The second video (7 min 30 sec), Winter Ceremony by Ay Churek (Moon Heart) shows a shamanic ritual. There is no narration, but the scenes presented are self-explanatory. Produced in the Netherlands by NGN Productions.
